April 17, 2025 - Applications are now open for the City of St. Petersburg's Community Impact Summer Enhancement Grant, which supports organizations that offer dynamic and engaging summer programs designed to uplift young people academically, socially, emotionally, and civically. Applications will be accepted until May 2, 2025.
"With Education and Youth Opportunities as one of our top priorities, summer is a critical time to continue engaging young people and their families," said St. Petersburg Mayor Kenneth T. Welch. "The City's Community Impact Summer Enhancement Grant is designed to support and empower organizations that provide enriching summer experiences for St. Pete's youth. Providing positive opportunities and unlocking the potential of our young people while fostering their social, emotional, and civic growth is key to their success."
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
Demonstrate experience in engaging underserved or at-risk youth, including collaborations with community organizations.
Deliver youth programs or summer initiatives.
Applicants can apply for funding up to $35,000. Funding will be awarded based on application evaluation and funding availability. The total amount of grants awarded during this period will be $100,000.
