Body

On Wednesday, March 11, De La Vina Street from Vernon Road to Alamar Avenue will have temporary delays between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Traffic will be delayed periodically while a crane is used to set girders for the new bridge deck. Vehicles and pedestrians traveling southbound on De La Vina Street may encounter intermittent delays of 5 to 10 minutes. Traffic control will be in place and alternative routes will remain open. All businesses will remain accessible.

Project Benefits: The Project will replace the existing bridge over Mission Creek. The new bridge is designed to meet current structural and geometric standards, while minimizing adverse impacts to Mission Creek and the surrounding natural habitat.

This Project is primarily funded by the Highway Bridge Program (HBP), which is administered by the Federal Highway Administration through Caltrans Local Assistance. The City's grant match is funded by Measure C.

We appreciate the community's patience and cooperation as we improve our City's infrastructure.
