Mcso Motor Unit receives donation to help cover police week costs

Mount Clemens, MI - BMW Motorcycles of Southeast Michigan, located in Plymouth, MI, partnered with the Richmond Moose Lodge 2575, located in Richmond, MI, to raffle off two new BMW motorcycles to benefit the Macomb County Sheriff's Office. A $6,000 donation was provided to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office. The funds will be utilized to allow the MCSO Motor Unit to attend the National Police Week in Washington, D.C., in May.

National Police Week is an annual event that offers honor, remembrance, and peer support, while allowing law enforcement, survivors, and citizens to gather and pay homage to those who gave their lives in the line of duty. It draws between 25,000 to 40,000 attendees from departments throughout the United States as well as from agencies throughout the world.

Thanks to the generosity of BMW Motorcycles of Southeast Michigan and the Richmond Moose Lodge 2575, the MCSO Motor Unit will be participating in National Police Week.

"We are proud to support all local law enforcement agencies and officers. We believe having BMW motorcycles on hand within police forces creates excitement within the community while providing the best possible tool for patrol services," said Charlie Knoll, the owner of BMW Motorcycles of Southeast Michigan.

BMW Motorcycles of Southeast Michigan has worked with both local and state law enforcement agencies for over a decade, providing for motor unit (motorcycle) needs. In addition to the MCSO, the dealership currently contracts with the Michigan State Police, Oakland County Sheriff, and the cities of Lansing, Ann Arbor, Canton, Novi, Bloomfield, Lathrup Village, Mt.
