First Lady Diana Nausėdienė attended a meeting of leaders' spouses from the Three Seas Initiative countries in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Together with the spouses of the leaders of Croatia, Poland, Estonia, Moldova, and Albania, Diana Nausėdienė discussed the positive potential of soft power in a rapidly changing world, as well as initiatives that bring countries together, such as the Global Coalition for Child Wellbeing Online.
The First Lady emphasized that soft power networking has reached a global scale in recent years, bringing together dozens of spouses of heads of state from across all continents to work actively towards the shared goals of the international community: peace, prosperity, and humanism.
Diana Nausėdienė noted that soft power has always been the art of persuasion-achieving change not through force, but through values; not through coercion, but through culture, understanding, and cooperation.
"Soft power preserves what makes us human-memory, culture, language, and the quiet dignity of our differences-and, by paying particular attention to children, their well-being, education, safety, and physical activity, it also shapes the future of the world," she underlined.
The First Lady added that each spouse of a head of state carries out important initiatives in their own country, and that the opportunity to share experiences and join forces helps drive global change.
