TRAFFIC ALERT New Castle County Weekend Ramp Closure
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists there will be a ramp closure the weekend of May 3rd for concrete work. The ramp from southbound I-495 and I-95 onto northbound I-295will be closed from 6:00 am Saturday, May 3rd to 6:00 am Monday, May 5th.
Motorists traveling from southbound I-95 to northbound I-295 should take the ramp to southbound SR 141, then take the ramp to northbound I-295.
Motorists traveling from southbound I-495 to northbound I-295 should take the ramp toward SR 141 (Exits 5A and 5B), continue on southbound I-95, take the ramp to southbound SR 141, and then take the ramp to northbound I-295.
Motorists should use caution and expect minor delays in the area. For more information visit the DelDOT website at www.deldot.gov, download the DelDOT app or tune to 1380 am, WTMC.
