CUMBERLAND COUNTY SR-24 [15.056-15.56] from Crossville city limits to Seventh-Day Adventist Church and School bridge replacement: The contractor has closed SR-24 at LM 15.06 to LM 15.6. This closure will remain in place for the duration of the project. The posted detour is along SR-462 and SR-1. The contractor will be working on general clearing activities and utility work initially. Once initial work is completed, the Contractor will proceed with the replacement of the bridge over the Obed River. Motorists should use caution and utilize the posted detour. HAMILTON COUNTY I-75 at I-24 Interchange Reconstruction Phase 2: No interstate ramp/lane closures are scheduled for this period, but the contractor may utilize traveling/moving operations to vacuum and clean debris from medians and shoulders on areas of I-75 from Exit 1 (East Ridge) to Exit 3 (East Brainerd Road) and on I-24 from Germantown Road to the I-75 Interchange as part of the final punch list. Some minor off-peak (9 AM to 3 PM) temporary lane closures may occur Monday through Friday on North and South Terrace for the contractor to perform other final punch list work. HAMILTON COUNTY I-75 at the Hamilton Place Mall interchange: The SR-153 southbound ramp to I-75 northbound has been reduced to one lane. Traffic shifts have been implemented on I-75 northbound and I-75 southbound, Shallowford Road entrance ramps, and Shallowford Road exit ramps and Hamilton Place Mall exit ramp. Hamilton Loop Road is closed for retaining wall construction and storm drainage installation between the intersections near Markman's Jewelers and Texas Roadhouse. HAMILTON COUNTY SR-27 [5.51-7.93] from I-24 to Georgia State Line resurfacing on US-27: The contractor will have nighttime lane closures of Rossville Blvd - SR-27 between I-24 and the Georgia State Line. The lane closures will be Sunday through Thursday between the hours of 8 PM and 6 AM. At least one lane in each direction will be open to normal traffic. All on-street parking will be suspended during the nighttime work. Park accordingly and plan to move vehicles before the hours listed above. The middle lane, right lane, and right shoulder have been closed. 2 Lanes of traffic have been shifted to flow on the left shoulder and left lane. PUTNAM COUNTY I-40 TDOT Bridge Inspection both directions from MM 267.9 to MM 268.0: A routine inspection of the I-40 bridge over Indian Creek at Mile Marker 267.94 is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12. This inspection will result in lane closures on the bridge from 8 AM until 5 PM. The right eastbound lane and shoulder will be closed from 8 AM until 12 PM. The right westbound lane will be closed from 12 PM until 5 PM. PUTNAM COUNTY I-40 TDOT Bridge Inspection both directions from MM 291.3 to MM 291.4: Routine Inspections of the I-40 bridges over Poplar Grove Road and the Falling Water River at Mile Marker 291.39 have been scheduled for May 13. Lane closures will be required on the bridge to allow the use of specialized access equipment. The right eastbound lane and shoulder will be closed on Wednesday, May 13 from 8 AM until 12 PM.
