Arkansas GIS Office Announces New Data

The Workforce Policy and Innovation, Labor Market Information Team recently worked with the Arkansas GIS Office to create a new dataset for their platform! The Labor Force Data layer provides detailed insights into the civilian labor force for each county in Arkansas, highlighting the total number of employed and unemployed residents, along with the county's unemployment rate.
"Labor force data is an important part of the toolset our state uses to attract new opportunities and jobs for Arkansans," said Secretary of Commerce, Hugh McDonald. "Local economic development leaders will now be able to use this data in their own GIS systems to develop custom labor force maps for their community and region."
