City of Alexandria Inclement Weather Service Delays – Monday, January 26
Trash, recycling, and yard waste will not be collected tomorrow, Monday, January 26 due to inclement weather. Collection will "slide" by one day to accommodate snow and ice removal.
The collection schedule for the week of January 26-30 will be:
- Monday collection will take place on Tuesday, January 27
- Tuesday collection will take place on Wednesday, January 28
- Wednesday collection will take place on Thursday, January 29
- Thursday collection will take place on Friday, January 30
The Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Collection Drop-off Center will also be closed.
If trash, recycling, curbside compost, leaves, or yard waste are not collected on the rescheduled day, residents can submit a missed collection ticket online or by calling Alex 311.
