Book by Miss Idaho’s Teen 2024 to be Featured in Nampa’s StoryWalk® Trail

The City of Nampa will be featuring a book by BrekLynn Pancheri, a recent Skyview High School graduate and Miss Idaho's Teen 2024, called 'Darla & Belle Becoming Best Friends' at Nampa's StoryWalk® trail in Lakeview Park and invites the community to hear from BrekLynn as she shares about her book on July 31, 2025, at 11 a.m.

The StoryWalk® trail is an activity that encourages children and families to read while being engaged with physical activity. It offers reading stations strategically placed along a walking path that is approximately one-half mile in length.

BrekLynn shared, "I'm so excited to share Darla & Belle, Becoming Best Friends at Nampa's StoryWalk® trail. This book was written with love to help kids understand the power of kindness, inclusion, and friendship. My hope is that every child who reads it is reminded that being kind is always cool."

Darla & Belle Becoming Best Friends will be featured the entire month of August and is a great complement to International Friendship Day on August 3.
