One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Calaveras County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route 26 (SR-26) for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 26

• Long-term, one-way traffic control from Gill Haven Drive to Rich Gulch Lane for highway construction work through Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
• One-way traffic control at South Fork Mokelumne River for highway construction work beginning Monday, April 7, 2025, through Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control at South Fork Mokelumne River for highway construction work on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Main Street to Pine Street for utility work on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
