Azle Municipal Court, along with law enforcement agencies and courts statewide will once again be conducting the Great Texas Warrant Resolution. Courts began contacting individuals March 3, 2025, and Agencies began actively serving warrants March 3 - April 14, 2025.
These efforts are designed to target thousands of defendants with warrants from more than 250 participating jurisdictions. Numerous counties, justices of the peace and municipalities of all sizes will participate.
Under Texas law, individuals that appear before a court and make a good faith effort to resolve their Class C warrants are not subject to arrest. Additionally, if a judgment is made against an individual who is unable to pay the fine, the individual may request a judge to assess their ability to pay and offer alternative means to satisfy the judgment.
Individuals with warrant(s) are encouraged to contact the court(s) that issued the warrant(s) to resolve their cases voluntarily before they are compelled to appear by arrest. If you voluntarily appear at the Azle Municipal Court to take care of your tickets, you will NOT be arrested.
