Tonight on the House Floor, Democrats passed a new energy omnibus bill that is going to raise already high electric costs for rate payers in Illinois. We've been told about savings from these same types of policies enacted in the past, including FEJA and CEJA, and those savings have never materialized.

Our residents and businesses are suffering under the weight of large utility bills, and we should be doing something immediately to expand clean burning, readily available fuel and nuclear energy. Prices for electricity under this bill are going to increase for some and skyrocket for others.
