ADVISORY - HARRISBURG - Shapiro Administration Encourages Small Business Owners to Revisit Insurance Policies, Ensure They Have Sufficient Coverage

The Pennsylvania Insurance Department (PID) and the Office of the State Fire Commissioner (OSFC) will visit a local small business and discuss how small business owners can protect their business and property by making sure they have the proper insurance coverage. Insurance can help small businesses recover from the unexpected, such as a fire, which was the case for Nicole Raptapolus, owner of Color Bar Beauty Salon, whose insurance coverage provided the needed assistance to rebuild following a devastating fire at her facility. OSFC leadership will also share the importance of fire safety and how it safeguards businesses from potential fires.
