DNT Widening Project in Frisco Scheduled Closures, August 3 - August 9

(August 2, 2025) Expect various Dallas North Tollway (DNT) lane and ramp closures in Frisco, Sunday, August 3 through Saturday, August 9. [See DNT Widening project weekly closures map (PDF)] for details and detours.

These closures are part of the NTTA's DNT widening project and will be used for widening work, sign installation, final barrier preparation and placing final pavement markings. See below for details:

Continuous Ramp Closures:

Sunday, August 3 through Monday, August 4:

• The southbound Stonebrook Pkwy. entrance ramp will be continuously closed
• The southbound John Hickman Pkwy. exit and entrance ramps will be continuously closed
• The southbound SH 121/Headquarters Dr. exit ramp will be continuously closed
• Two various southbound lanes from Stonebrook Pkwy. to Headquarters Dr. will be closed

Various DNT Lane and Ramp Closures:

Monday, August 4 through Wednesday, August 6:

• The southbound SH 121/Headquarters Dr. exit ramp will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Monday, August 4 through Saturday, August 9:

• The southbound right lane from PGA Pkwy. to Fields Pkwy. will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• The north- and southbound right lane from Gaylord Pkwy. to Cotton Rd. will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Two north- and southbound various lanes from Legacy Dr. to US 380 will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Saturday, August 9:

• The east- and westbound SRT to northbound DNT DC ramps will be closed from 4 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Friday, August 10 at 6 a.m. through Monday, August 11 at 6 a.m.:

• Two various northbound lanes will be closed from Headquarters Dr. to Stonebrook Pkwy.

Continuous Ramp Closures:

Saturday, August 9 at 8 a.m. through Monday, August 11 at 5 a.m.:

• The northbound Headquarters Dr. DNT entrance ramp will be continuously closed
• The northbound SH 121 DNT entrance ramp will be continuously closed
• The northbound Gaylord Pkwy. exit ramp will be continuously closed
• The northbound John Hickman Pkwy. entrance and exit ramps will be continuously closed
• The northbound Stonebrook Pkwy. exit ramp will be continuously closed
