LONDON, 19 May 2026 -- NaughtOne, a leading British contract furniture manufacturer, introduces the Lotti chair, a new collaboration with multidisciplinary designer Keiji Takeuchi, during Clerkenwell Design Week 2026. Lotti is a simple yet ingenious café chair with a strong circular design rooted in easy disassembly and considered material choices.
Alongside this, NaughtOne also unveils Pullman Modular Seating, an architectural design solution that expands on a beloved NaughtOne product. The two new additions express NaughtOne's dedication to sustainability and intentional design, serving as true problem solvers for modern spaces.
The Welcoming Café Chair: Lotti
At first glance, Lotti appears refreshingly understated. Taking a closer look, a thoughtful design language emerges-from its bold, oversized legs and gently curved waterfall seat to a signature floating backrest that seems to defy expectations.
Lotti is also a canvas for individual expression. Available in a rich palette of colours and finished with the warmth of natural wood, it invites designers to make it unmistakably their own.
"Good chairs go beyond style, they give you a feeling of comfort, trust, a good fit," commented Keiji Takeuchi. "I see Lotti as an empathetic chair, it's like it's speaking to you, giving off a good vibe, saying 'hey, sit on me.'"
Sustainability is central to the chair's design. Designed with circularity in mind, Lotti prioritizes longevity. Through a minimal steel frame, recycled content in the plastic, and a water-based finish on the plywood, the design remains mindful of the planet. Everything from materials and construction to the thoughtful fixing system-which allows individual parts to be easily swapped or updated without replacing the whole chair-contributes to a long life. With no glue used to lock components in place, every element in Lotti is fully serviceable with common tools.
Lotti is available in an almost infinite colour palette-available in a single accent dip that highlights the tubular frame to a fully dipped finish with colour-matched seat and back for a cohesive, monochromatic look.
The Space Shaper: Pullman Modular Seating
Pullman Modular occupies a unique position in the world of commercial furniture, functioning less like a product and more like a spatial tool. Without a wall built or a screen erected, it defines, divides, and organises space with quiet authority.
Designed for the dynamic environments of cafés, lounges and collaborative workplaces, Pullman Modular anchors community zones while simultaneously creating opportunities for privacy-a discreet corner to check messages, take a call, or simply step away from the flow.
The result is an environment that feels considered rather than constructed. Pullman Modular shapes its surroundings cohesively and with character, turning open-plan spaces into distinct zones and intimate enclaves.
Stephen Floyd, Creative Director commented, "Pullman Modular seemed like an inevitable extension to the Pullman product line. Building on what was already a visually quiet and functional product, this addition expands the possibilities for how it can be configured. Interior designers will have a lovely toolkit to create hard working, beautiful spaces."
