Washington, D.C.- Today, the U.S. House of Representatives voted to advance a package containing two additional Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations bills: the Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Act (FSGG) and the National Security, Department of State, and Related Programs Appropriations Act (NSRP).
Congresswoman Bice issued the following statement:
"Today marks the second package of appropriations bills we have passed overwhelmingly. It is critical we continue to responsibly fund the government, and that is exactly what we are doing. These bills end divisive Biden-era policies and help codify President Trump's America First agenda. The FSGG bill strengthens our financial systems by enhancing cybersecurity and modernizing critical government infrastructure. The NSRP bill aligns foreign assistance towards U.S. national security priorities, eliminates Biden-era funding for terrorist groups, counters near-peer adversaries like China, and strengthens border security. I was proud to support a package that reorients our spending, eliminates waste, and supports American values."
