Filmmakers and movie lovers are invited to step onto the red carpet for a weekend of captivating stories from Texas and beyond as the 2025 Tyler Film Festival, presented by Dobbs & Porter, returns to Liberty Hall on Friday, Sept. 12, and Friday, Sept. 13!
Doors open at 5 p.m., with screenings beginning at 6 p.m. each night. The festival will conclude on Saturday with an awards ceremony and catered reception.
Tickets are on sale now at LibertyTyler.com. A 2-Day Pass costs $25, giving audiences access to both evenings of films and events, and single-night tickets are $15. Students who purchase tickets at the door with a valid student ID will receive a discount.
This year's lineup features student and independent short films, each no longer than 15 minutes, from Texas and around the world! Both nights will showcase a variety of genres and styles, with Q&A sessions following screenings, offering festivalgoers the chance to hear directly from filmmakers, cast and crew members.
Our festival partners are adding to the experience at Liberty Hall. This year, True Vine Brewing Company will provide complimentary beer for guests 21 and older, and Heritage East at Culture ETX will cater the Saturday evening reception following the awards ceremony.
The 2025 Tyler Film Festival is sponsored by Dobbs & Porter, Sharon and James Wynne, True Vine Brewing Company, Heritage East at Culture ETX, KETK, Heart of Tyler, Visit Tyler, TAG, Tyler Art Festival, East Texas Film Society, Liberty Hall and the Texas Film Commission.
