If you are worried about someone you know, there is help available

Female genital mutilation (FGM) is when a girl's genitals are partly or entirely removed, cut, sewn or damaged, FGM is also known as female circumcision, cutting or sunna and agencies across Doncaster are raising awareness of this crime and the support available.

If this has happened to you, or you are worried this is going to happen to you or a family member it is very important that you get support from a trusted person.
