Nuclear sector authorities welcomed World Bank and IAEA specialists at Atucha

The Atucha Nuclear Power Plant hosted a visit by energy specialists from the World Bank and representatives of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) during a technical and institutional exchange focused on the development of Argentina's nuclear sector.

The activity included the participation of the Secretary of Nuclear Affairs, Dr. Federico Ramos Napoli; the President of Nucleoeléctrica Argentina, Biochemist Juan Martín Campos; the President of the National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA), Eng. Martín Porro; and the President of Dioxitek, Eng. Bruno Oberlis, together with authorities and technical teams from Argentina's nuclear sector. During the visit, participants toured several areas of the Atucha II Nuclear Power Plant and visited the Full Scope Simulator.

The agenda included discussions on operation, technical training, infrastructure, and nuclear power generation, allowing participants to share capabilities and experiences related to the operation of Argentina's nuclear power plants.

"Argentina has a recognized track record and capabilities in the nuclear field. These types of meetings allow us to exchange experiences and continue strengthening ties with international organizations and specialists from the sector," Campos stated.

These meetings are part of ongoing efforts aimed at strengthening institutional relationships and promoting technical exchange with international organizations and leaders linked to the energy and nuclear sectors.
