Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas will visit Finland on Monday 19 May at the invitation of Prime Minister Petteri Orpo.
Topics on the agenda for their discussions will include European security, the situation in Ukraine, the EU's next multiannual financial framework (2028-) and bilateral relations between Lithuania and Finland.
"Lithuania and Finland have a lot of common interests, especially when it comes to developing European security and defence. Finland's comprehensive security model, preparedness and security of supply have been generating particular attention lately," said Prime Minister Orpo.
While in Helsinki, Prime Minister Paluckas will also meet with President of the Republic Alexander Stubb and Speaker of Parliament Jussi Halla-aho.
