Prime Minister’s greetings to Portugal on its National Day

On behalf of the Government and the people of Lithuania, Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas has sent a message of greetings to the nation of Portugal on its National Day, wishing them prosperity and well-being.

'This occasion offers a valuable opportunity to reaffirm our strong commitment to the unity and resilience of the European Union and NATO, especially as we continue to confront complex global challenges.

Lithuania deeply values our shared dedication to upholding democracy, freedom, and international peace. I am confident that our countries will continue to stand side by side in demonstrating unwavering support for Ukraine in its courageous defence of sovereignty and the future of a secure and free Europe.
