Your Seat is Waiting! Explore Additional M-DCPS Magnet Program Opportunities Starting April 15

Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) is pleased to announce another opportunity for families to access award-winning and newly-created Magnet programs. M-DCPS is inviting families to explore limited seats available in a variety of engaging Magnet programs.

Starting Tuesday, April 15, 2025, families can apply for additional Magnet seats for the 2025-2026 school year. This application period will remain open until all seats are filled or until the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year, whichever comes first. M-DCPS encourages families to apply promptly to secure their child's future seat.

Applications for Magnet programs will be accepted exclusively online through the M-DCPS Parent Portal at dadeschools.net.

Your child's future seat is waiting! Families with students currently on Magnet program waitlists from the initial application period will retain their waitlist status as they continue to explore additional programs through this special application period. This opportunity offers a chance to discover even more innovative and thematic educational experiences for the children of Miami-Dade County. It is also an ideal time for families to explore the newest Magnet programs launching in the 2025-2026 school year that were not available during the initial application window. Available seats will now be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
