Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Chen Chuandong Meets IOM Representative
On March 23, Ambassador Chen Chuandong met with Matthew Luciano, head of office of the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
Mr. Luciano briefed Ambassador Chen on IOM's work in Lebanon and its relief efforts for refugees and displaced persons. Ambassador Chen presented progress of China's on-going humanitarian aid project in Lebanon and plan for a new batch of relief supplies.
Both sides agreed to maintain close communication and coordination to try to alleviate the humanitarian crisis in Lebanon.
