HANNIBAL - Weather permitting, two resurfacing projects in Audrain County are set to begin as early as the week of June 8. Contractor crews will start on Route NN, from Missouri Route 22 near Mexico to the end of state maintenance. Once complete, work will move to Missouri Route 22, from 0.1 mile west of Route E near Thompson to Morris Street in Mexico.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction at the location where crews are actively working. Flaggers and a pilot car will be utilized for traffic control to guide traffic through the work zone. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
Recently, Emery Sapp & Sons of Columbia, MO, was awarded these contracts in combination for a total amount of $2,324,480; for resurfacing on Audrain County Route NN and Missouri Route 22. These projects are scheduled to be completed by November 2026.
