Chairman Myers to Host Wildfire Mitigation Special Meeting Next Week

Phoenix, Ariz. - Arizona Corporation Commission Chairman Nick Myers is hosting the third annual Wildfire Mitigation Special Meeting and Town Hall to engage the community in a discussion on this critical issue.

The Special Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 16, in Phoenix, Arizona. If you are unable to attend in person, virtual and dial-in options are listed below.

"Sustained progress in wildfire mitigation in Arizona will depend not only on ongoing collaboration among all stakeholders, but also on the availability and use of new technologies that can help prevent, detect, and mitigate wildfires," commented Chairman Myers. "I am looking forward to this year's interactive and educational presentations from our regulated utilities and other key stakeholders, highlighting their wildfire prevention efforts and use of new technologies."
