CLEVELAND - University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's is proud to unveil a new logo and community-wide campaign - including colorful spotlights at locations across Northeast Ohio - marking a bold new chapter for one of the region's most beloved children's hospitals. The refreshed visual identity honors a rich legacy while looking ahead to the future of pediatric healthcare.
The new design amplifies the iconic Rainbow symbol while keeping its connection to the world-class University Hospitals health system. It reinforces what makes UH Rainbow different: a distinct UH Rainbow experience, nationally recognized expertise, and signature strengths like the UH MacDonald Women's Hospital partnership and the Angie Fowler Adolescent & Young Adult Cancer Institute.
"Rainbow is truly a one-of-a-kind, special place," said Marissa G. Kiefer, President of UH Rainbow and UH MacDonald Women's Hospital and the Patti DePompei, RN, MSN, Distinguished Chair in Women's and Children's Healthcare Leadership. "The compassion, expertise and innovation that patients, families and caregivers have come to rely on remain unchanged - what's new is a look that reflects who UH Rainbow is today and where it's headed."
As part of the launch, across Northeast Ohio, red, yellow and blue lights will illuminate more than a dozen landmarks and communities - from Amherst to Ashtabula. The lights honor the full spectrum of care UH Rainbow provides, from everyday visits to the most complex cases, and from the tiniest newborns to teens and young adults.
