Chinese Ambassador to Jamaica Wang Jinfeng Attends the Hurricane Melissa Recovery Conference
On April 21, 2026, His Excellency Wang Jinfeng, Chinese Ambassador to Jamaica, attended the Hurricane Melissa Recovery Conference co-hosted by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and Jamaica Red Cross(JRC). The Honourable Pearnel Charles Jr., Minister of Labour and Social Security in Jamaica and representative of Prime Minister Andrew Holness, Mr. Jagan Chapagain, Secretary General of the IFRC, Ms. Allasandra Chung, President of JRC, Commander Alvin Gayle, Director General of the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management in Jamaica and representatives of Diplomatic Corps attended.
