Starting on Tuesday, November 4, a segment of the trail system at Lynn Gripon Park at Countryside will be closed. This closure will directly impact pedestrians and bicyclists who access the park using the trail system.
The segment that will be closed runs alongside Magnolia Creek and is located at the underpass of the Bay Area Boulevard bridge. See the map below.
The closure is needed so paving and slope repairs can be made to the bridge. This work is expected to last four to six weeks. Signs have been placed along both sides of the trail to warn users of the closure.
The closure will directly impact users of the trail system at Countryside Park, particularly those who enter and exit the park using the segment of trail under the Bay Area Blvd bridge. This closure will also impact residents of the Countryside subdivision-along with other adjoining subdivisions- who will not be able to directly access the park using the trail system. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
