Temporary Lane Closure Planned on County Road Bridges

FARGO, N.D. - Ongoing construction of the stormwater diversion channel portion of the FM Area Diversion project necessitates two separate single lane closures beginning Wednesday, July 15, 2026. The closures are necessary for the installation of monitoring sensors and electric work on county road crossings over the channel.

One lane closure will be on the County Road 16/17 crossing, located south of Horace, North Dakota. This closing will begin on Wednesday and last through Thursday, July 16, 2026.

The second lane closure will be on the County Road 4/31 crossing, located east of Argusville, North Dakota. This closing will begin on Wednesday and last through Friday, July 17, 2026.

Flaggers will be in place to coordinate traffic through the lane closures. Motorists should expect delays and intermittent stops in the work areas. Please allow extra time for travel and remain alert to changing conditions when driving through these work areas.
