WHERE/WHEN: Tropic Like It's Hot premieres Monday, April 6 at 10 and 10:30 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV 

WHO: HGTV is heating up Monday nights with Tropic Like It's Hot, a new 16-episode series following buyers on the hunt for their dream home in some of the world's most stunning tropical destinations. With the help of a local real estate expert, sun-chasing duos will tour exotic properties while navigating romance, relocation and high-stakes decisions as they turn up the heat on their next chapter. In the 10 p.m. series premiere, after only nine months of dating, a Canadian power couple will trade snow for sand to find a love nest and build a business in Tulum, Mexico. While adjusting to life in paradise comes easily, buying a home with a new partner is a risky move that may be too much too soon. At 10:30 p.m., after a DM slide and just one week together, a Canadian is selling everything to relocate and reignite a romance in Jacó, Costa Rica. They're buying a home and working together, and he's betting his life savings on a relationship that's yet to be tested.
