FEC to host July 8 Basic and Advanced FECFile Webinars (2026)

The Commission will offer both beginner and advanced FECFile webinars on Wednesday, July 8 to help committees prepare to file their July quarterly or monthly disclosure reports. Whether you are new to the FEC's free filing software or have been using it for years, these webinars are for you.

During the basic session, FEC staff will cover introductory topics, including setting up the committee data file, entering receipts and disbursements and submitting reports. The advanced session will dive into more detailed transactions, including independent expenditure reporting and earmarked contributions. During both webinars, staff from the FEC's Reports Analysis Division will lead participants through detailed reporting scenarios and answer your campaign finance reporting questions.
