April museum programs explore outer space

Family programs at the University of Alaska Museum of the North will focus on outer space in April.

Families with children ages 5 and under are invited to drop in at Early Explorers on Friday, April 17, from 10 a.m. to noon. Children can create and discover with hands-on activities in the Creativity Lab, and explore the galleries.

Early Explorers programs are included with admission and are free for members.

All ages are invited to the grand opening of the Walt and Marita Babula Planetarium from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 25. Admission is free.
