Give a warm Bobcat welcome to Dr. Jasmine Kelly as associate director of Student Inclusion and Belonging in the Office of Inclusion and Belonging. She began her duties at Georgia College & State University on Jan. 2, 2025.
Kelly will design and implement educational programming around self-awareness, intercultural understanding and dialogue concerning inclusion and belonging that serve the primary constituencies, as well as the larger campus community. She looks forward to fostering inclusive spaces that empower and support Georgia College students.
A native of Atlanta, Kelly earned her degrees from Western Kentucky University and Clark Atlanta University, shaping her passion for student engagement and advocacy. Her professional journey includes impactful roles at Georgia State University and The Hunt Institute, where she spearheaded the DEI State Officers Network.
"Dr. Kelly comes highly recommended as a dynamic leader in student inclusion," said Dr. Michael T. Snowden, executive director of Inclusion and Belonging. "Her energy, passion for student engagement and commitment to fostering a value-added, student-focused engagement curriculum are truly inspiring. One of her greatest strengths lies in her ability to connect with new students unfamiliar with the HUB, guiding them to discover its resources and the opportunities it offers for community building and personal growth."
