Apply to Serve as a Bankruptcy Practice Committee Member by 12/05/2025

The application period to serve on the Bankruptcy Practice Committee (BPC) for a term starting on January 1, 2026, is now open. The judges of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court plan to appoint several new members to the BPC. The full BPC meets every other month to address local rule changes and to provide input and suggestions on improving the administration of bankruptcy cases and proceedings in the district. In addition, members of the BPC typically serve on one or more subcommittees to make recommendations to the full committee on a particular local rule or topic.
