CAPITOL, PCG REINFORCE COASTAL SAFETY PARTNERSHIP
Coast Guard Station Southern Negros Occidental Commander Lt. (jg) James Carbajosa, together with the officers of Coast Guard Station Northern Negros Occidental paid a courtesy visit to Governor Bong Lacson on Tuesday, February 10, at the Provincial Capitol to provide updates on the Philippine Coast Guard's ongoing and upcoming programs and projects in the province.
During the meeting, the Coast Guard officials also discussed current maritime safety initiatives, security operations, disaster preparedness efforts, and strengthened coordination with local government units.
Gov. Lacson expressed the Provincial Government's continued support for the PCG's mandate, emphasizing the importance of close collaboration to ensure the safety and security of Negros Occidental's coastal communities and the strong implementation of maritime laws.*
