CCWD Sponsors Fishing Program for Kids

CCWD is partnering with CAST for Kids to host an annual fishing day at Los Vaqueros. We pair local fishing experts with kids and teens with special needs and their caretakers, where they are shown proper fishing techniques and receive a natural resources education. The fishing excursion is followed up by lunch and an awards ceremony. The Los Vaqueros Marina proves the perfect backdrop for a rewarding day of shore and boat fishing. We also have large pontoon boats that can accommodate wheelchairs.
