Simmons Hanly Conroy Elevates Six Attorneys to Partner

ALTON, Ill. - Simmons Hanly Conroy, a national leader in the legal representation of mesothelioma patients and their families, is pleased to announce the elevation of six firm attorneys to partner, effective Jan. 1, 2025. The firm's new partners are Casey Cira, Dennis M. Geier, Sona R. Shah, Arthur Prystowsky, Megan L. Williams, and Brett F. Fuller.

Based in the firm's Alton office, Cira focuses her practice on helping victims of mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases. She has been with Simmons Hanly Conroy since 2016 and has more than 18 years of legal experience, which includes all stages of cases, from the initial interview to taking depositions and conducting investigations. Cira earned her J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) from St. Louis University.

Based in the firm's New York City office, Geier handles primarily asbestos and mass tort cases. With more than 17 years of experience practicing law, he oversees the firm's New Jersey cases and plays a key role in asbestos talc litigation. He joined Simmons Hanly Conroy in 2023. Geier received his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University.

Also based in the New York City office, Shah is a member of the firm's Complex Litigation Department, focusing on litigating all phases of class actions. She has more than 20 years of experience, which includes civil rights litigation and representing labor unions, government entities, individual investors and consumers in litigation against corporate defendants, including major pharmaceutical companies, oil companies, broker-dealers, and auditors. She joined Simmons Hanly Conroy in 2023. Shah earned her J.D. from Fordham University Law School and her Bachelor of Arts from New York University.

Prystowsky also is a member of Simmons Hanly Conroy's New York City team, joining the firm in 2020. He focuses his practice on assisting individuals and families affected by mesothelioma. He has represented more than 5,000 powerhouse mechanics, electricians, sheet metal workers, and insulators, including individuals and families, affected by mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases. He received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and his Bachelor of Arts from Franklin & Marshall College.

Williams manages the probate division of Simmons Hanly Conroy supporting asbestos and mass tort cases. She joined the firm in 2020 and is based in the Alton, Illinois office. She has a background in civil rights programming and advocacy. She earned her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University Chicago.

Based in the firm's New York City office, Fuller focuses his practice on helping victims of mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases. He is involved in all stages of a client's case and is dedicated to securing the best possible outcome for his clients, treating each case with care and expertise. He has managed cases for a decade and defended hundreds of depositions. Fuller received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Kenyon College.
