SLDC Hires New Communications & Marketing Coordinator

St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC) has hired Jennifer Green as Communications and Marketing Coordinator.

In her role, Green will assist with communications, marketing and public engagement efforts to enhance SLDC's visibility and strengthen community awareness and relationships. She will also support the planning and execution of organizational initiatives, programs and events while ensuring consistent messaging across communications channels.

Green brings more than 20 years of experience in content creation, communications and project coordination to her position.

Prior to SLDC, Green worked at the Belleville News-Democrat in the news and marketing department. As a reporter, she covered a variety of topics, including business, municipal government, commercial development and real estate transactions. In the marketing department, Green led graphic design campaigns for internal promotions, events and the company newsletter. She also coordinated sponsorship agreements with local organizations for the newspaper and events.

Green holds a bachelor's degree in graphic design and mass communications from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Green will start with SLDC on Nov. 9, 2026.
