Burnsville, Dec 8 - Water treatment equipment, chemicals and services provider, H2O Innovation, has joined the Minnesota Bio-Fuels Association (MN Bio-Fuels) as an Associate Member.
"We are pleased to welcome H2O Innovation as the newest associate member of the Minnesota Bio-Fuels Association. With their support, we are able to broaden our coalition, add expertise in water treatment and environmental efficiency, and better accomplish our goal of strengthening Minnesota's economy and environment through the production of renewable fuels," said Brian Werner, executive director at MN Bio-Fuels.
For over two decades, H2O Innovation has been a leading supplier of water treatment equipment, chemicals, consumables, spare parts, and site services for biofuel producers throughout the US and Canada.
"H2O Innovation is joining MN Bio-Fuels to support the growth and sustainability of the Minnesota biofuels industry. H2O has been providing water treatment equipment, chemicals and services to the industry for over 25 years, and we directly impact over 40 percent of the bioethanol produced in North America," said Jerry Tegels, director of aftermarket sales at H2O Innovation.
Headquartered in Quebec, Canada, H2O Innovation has plants and offices in Canada, Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom and the US. In Minnesota, the company is based in Ramsay.
The company has built equipment - including membrane systems, media filtration, and ion exchange - for over 80 ethanol plants.
Other services to the ethanol industry include performance optimization, CIP audit and lab services as well as PLC (programmable logic controllers), HMI (human-machine interfaces) and SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) programming.
"Joining MN Bio-Fuels allows us to partner more closely with Minnesota's ethanol plants to improve their operational efficiency and environmental performance.
