Guy Carpenter announces global property and casualty leadership appointments

NEW YORK, August 17, 2026 ­─­ Guy Carpenter, a business of Marsh (NYSE: MRSH) and a leading global risk and reinsurance specialist, today announced the appointments of David Duffy as Global Property Leader and Chris Ross as Global Casualty Leader, effective immediately. Based in New York, Mr. Duffy and Mr. Ross will report to John Trace, CEO of North America and Chief Broking Officer, Guy Carpenter.

In these newly created roles, Mr. Duffy and Mr. Ross will mobilize Guy Carpenter's market-leading best practices to deliver cutting-edge risk transfer solutions for clients in the property and casualty (re)insurance market. By leveraging Guy Carpenter's global data and market insights, they will create competitive advantages for clients, enabling them to accelerate growth while navigating an evolving risk landscape.

Mr. Duffy and Mr. Ross each have more than 25 years of experience across a range of macroeconomic and (re)insurance market conditions and have led some of Guy Carpenter's largest global client relationships. Mr. Duffy joined Guy Carpenter in 1992 and most recently served as Co-President, Global Clients. Mr. Ross joined Guy Carpenter in 1999 and previously led the New York-based Casualty team.
