Chinese Embassy in Malta Hosts Theme Reception in Celebration for the International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations

On June 10, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in Malta hosted a theme reception in celebration for the International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations. A video address by H.E. Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, delivered at 2026 Event to Celebrate The International Day for Dialogue Among Civilizations, was played at the reception. 

In his remarks, Ambassador Zhang stated that the vessel of human civilization is sailing into dangerous waters, and peaceful development is at a crossroads. He stressed that all parties should uphold the equality of civilizations and reject zero-sum games; uphold the coexistence of civilizations and jointly address the challenges of our times; uphold exchanges among civilizations and transcend geopolitical games; and uphold the progress of civilizations and overcome the mindset of supremacy.
