ODOT invites public to Ottawa County fall projects information session

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - (Wednesday, August 13, 2025) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) invites the public to an informational open-house to learn about projects coming to the region this fall.

The open house will be held Wednesday, August 27 at the Liberty Aviation Museum (located at the Ottawa County airport), conference room No. 1, 3515 E. State Road, Port Clinton.

Interested persons may come any time between 3-6 p.m. as no formal presentation will be made. Officials with ODOT will be available throughout the designated time to discuss the following upcoming projects (reference map below):

  1. State Route 269 at S. Danbury Road roundabout construction
  2. State Route 163 shore revetment project in Port Clinton
  3. State Route 269 at State Route 163 traffic signal upgrade incorporating flashing yellow left-turn arrows
  4. Representatives from neighboring Erie County in District 3 will be available to discuss the active State Route 2 resurfacing project occurring beyond the county line.
