President Kavelashvili held an expanded-format meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić.
During the meeting the two sides reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and discussed prospects for deepening cooperation across various areas. They also examined ongoing global developments, with particular attention to the shared geopolitical challenges facing their countries.
The meeting also addressed the promotion of interparliamentary dialogue. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of establishing a Georgia Friendship Group within the Serbian Parliament to enhance interparliamentary dialogue and engagement.
The meeting was attneded by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, Members of the Parliament of Georgia: Iraki Mezurnishvili, Irma Zavradashvili and Guram Macharashvili, the Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Serbia, Levan Beridze, as well as representatives of the Administration of the President of Georgia.
