The Lewisville City Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2026-27 budget during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on Monday, Sept. 14, in the Council Chambers at Lewisville City Hall, 151 W. Church Street.
The $148 million proposed General Fund budget includes an increase in the property tax rate from the current .419009 to .436381 per $100 valuation and a 7.8 percent increase in the utility rate. Despite the increase, Lewisville's property tax rate remains among the lowest in North Texas.
A public hearing to consider setting the property tax rate will be held during the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on Monday, Sept. 21, in the Council Chambers at Lewisville City Hall.
The proposed budget document is available for review on the
Annual Budget page at cityoflewisville.com and at the City Secretary's Office or at the Lewisville Public Library during regular hours.
