The revision of the ICOM Code of Ethics is the result of more than four years of dialogue and consultation across ICOM's global network. Since 2020, ETHCOM has followed an approved timeline that included four rounds of member consultations, along with surveys, draft reviews, and exchanges with National and International Committees, Regional Alliances, and Affiliated Organisations. Over 75 webinars and information sessions were held, providing members with opportunities to engage in the process and contribute their perspectives.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the final text of the Revised Code of Ethics for Museums before its vote at the ICOM 41st Ordinary General Assembly on 25 June 2026.
Upon registering, participants will receive a Zoom link to join the webinar.
