TRAFFIC ALERT - Sussex County - Closure of Old Orchard Road between E. Austin Street and E. Chesapeake Street
Closure of Old Orchard Road between E. Austin Street and E. Chesapeake Street
Lewes - ; The Delaware Department of Transportation announces the closure of Old Orchard Road between E. Austin Street and E. Chesapeake Street starting on Monday, August 10th through mid-September (weather permitting) for the Realignment of Old Orchard Road at Wescoats Corner.
Detour- Motorists on eastbound Savannah Rd wanting to turn left onto Old Orchard Rd will continue on Savannah Rd, turn left onto Front St, turn left onto New Rd, returning to Old Orchard Rd.
Motorists on eastbound New Rd wanting to turn right onto Old Orchard Rd will continue on New Rd, turn right onto Pilottown Rd, turn right onto Savannah Rd, returning to Old Orchard Rd.
