A shooting in the Parkrose Neighborhood leaves one injured, one deceased. Homicide Detectives are investigating.

On Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 9:17 p.m., Portland Police Officers assigned to North Precinct responded to a report that someone had been shot in a parking lot near Northeast Airport Way and Northeast Glenn Widing Drive. When officers arrived, they found two adult male victims. AMR responded and transported two victims to a local hospital where one was pronounced deceased.
The suspect or suspects left the scene before police arrived and no immediate arrests were made.
Portland Police Homicide Unit Detectives are on scene investigating the shooting. During the investigation, Northeast Glenn Widing Drive is closed both east and west between Northeast Airport Way and Northeast Airport Way.
