LOCAL NEWS | Students Visit WJE's San Antonio Office Ahead of API Summit

In August, students from This One's for the Gals toured our San Antonio office, gaining a firsthand look at our structural engineering and forensic investigation work before attending the American Petroleum Institute's 2026 Inspection & Mechanical Integrity Summit.

During the visit, students learned about the forensic investigation process and how WJE engineers approach complex structural challenges in the course of our daily work.

Unit Manager Craig Quadrato and summer structural engineering intern Sophia Shelton spoke with students about their career trajectories and answered questions about their work.

This One's for the Gals is focused on exposing students to career paths they may not have previously encountered through direct engagement with industry professionals.

The organization produced a video documenting their experiences including their visit at our San Antonio office and their time with our team at the API Summit.
