Community Emergency Preparedness Training

On April 25, staff taught in a 90-minute disaster preparedness training for 26 members of San Rafael First United Methodist Church.

During the session, participants enrolled in Alert Marin, developed personal and household preparedness plans, and gained hands-on experience with lifesaving skills, including Hands-Only CPR and proper use of a fire extinguisher. Each participant also received a complimentary disaster go-bag to support their continued preparedness at home.

Thank you to our valued community partners for helping make this training engaging, practical, and impactful in strengthening our community's readiness!
