Voters Re-elect Three, Welcome New City Council Member

Following the April 1 consolidated election, Elgin voters re-elected incumbents Corey Dixon, Dustin Good and Steve Thoren to the City Council. They will be joined by Council member-elect Diana Alfaro.

Alfaro will succeed Councilwoman Carol Rauschenberger, who did not seek re-election.

Until the vote totals are certified on April 22, all results are unofficial.

The newly elected and re-elected council members will be sworn in for their four-year terms during the City Council meeting on May 14.
